Thai Traditional Medicine is the health treatment for both usual and unusual conditions by using the theory of elements healthcare balancing and Anatomy; the medical scientific principle.
The wisdom of Thai Traditional Medicine was gathered from the treatment experiences since the ancient time with the belief that body and mind is unite and influenced by environment, according to that the treatment should be holistic and it is relevant the philosophy of Thai Lifestyle.
History of Thai Traditional Medicine
Thai Traditional Medicine was originated from Ayurveda – the traditional medicine of India. All traditional physicians are worshiped Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha – personal physician of Lord of Buddha as “Supreme Master of Traditional Medicine”
Thai Traditional Medicine Institutions
In order to gain more confident on service quality of Thai Traditional Medicine, Chiang Mai Provincial Public Health Office and Confederation Medicine Thailand have organized the service quality assessment for institutions in private sector in year 2016 by evaluating on place, people, diagnosis and follow-up and sustainable management.
